Blocsy was developed by Sam, a high school Design Technology teacher from Rhyl, North Wales. Sam always felt a little bit of a fraud in teaching students Design but never really having tried to get his own product out there. So on having that `light bulb` moment, he thought, let’s go for it. After developing the product through a series of prototypes it was time to think about marketing and branding, and luckily for Sam, one of his best friends Chris Jones was a Graphic Designer based in Toronto. Chris loved the idea and so they partnered up to enjoy the adventure together.
British born and well traveled, Chris relocated to Canada in early 2011 and currently lives in Toronto with partner, daughter and two dogs. During his career so far he has gained valuable experience working with reputable brands and agencies on results-driven campaigns. He has forged strong partnerships with global clients and worked with a variety of manufacturers across Europe and beyond. With a keen interest in all things advertising, Chris loves nothing more than to dive into a problem and help find a ‘solution’.

Eventually, we want to create an app to allow custom orders of specific blocks to be purchased. For example, if you have a blocsy item of furniture, you want to take apart and build something else with, you might need some extra parts/blocks. The app would allow you to do this order these quickly and simply, as well as having some other cool features….
We are a small passionate team with lots of ideas and motivation, but little experience in business. Therefore, we need you to help us make Blocsy as huge a success as we think it can be.
