Currently, many transient young people buy furniture for ‘temporary situations’. When their situation
changes, they either sell second hand (dealing with awkward haggling scenarios and accepting a loss in the
money they initially paid – even if the item is ‘like new’) or they end up throwing away their usable furniture
leading to an unnecessary loss in money and materials. This approach has evolved into a wasteful ‘Fast
Furniture’ model.
Blocsy aims to disrupt this and provide a solution that is more convenient and better value for people, and better for the planet.
